Lot 491

1805 Draped Bust Dime. Four berries. SEGS graded MS-63. Toned with dark gray around the periphery of the obverse, with rose shades at the center, on the reverse we note flecks of gold and blue throughout over silver surfaces. Clean and not displaying many handling marks. We must note the weakness in the strike on the upper curls, feathers and drapery lines, which is nicely toned over. There are some minor hairlines too, as always seen on these important coins. As a type coin, the 1805 dime is a perfect choice, they usually come well struck and are one of the more available dates of the series. Take a close look at this one to see if its the coin for you.
Estimated Value $3,000 - 4,000.
