1859 Liberty Seated Half Dime. NGC graded Proof 65. The final year of the with stars regular issue (a few proofs were struck with stars in 1860, but these were not for circulation). Note that the date shows recutting on the 18 and 9. Milky and hazy toning on both sides, but reflective when examined closely. One short lint mark on the inside field of the last two stars. NGC has only graded 34 this high, with 22 graded higher.
