Attica. Athens, after 393 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.0 g), countermarked in the East. . Hen-436. Interesting and scarce. Helmeted head of Athena right; countermark with Aramaic "B" before her mouth. Reverse: Owl standing right, sprig of olive behind. SNG Cop. 63. Cf. Diebolt & Nicolet-Pierre, SNR 56. With dark gray "find" patina; test cut on either side. Very Fine.
