Akarnania. Argos Amphilochikon, c. 350-270 BC. AR Stater (8.6 g). A scarcer city in the series. Pegasus flying left, A below. Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left, ethnic above left, ABP behind; tethered lance to right. Pegasi II, p. 533, 32. Nicely toned, with bold, clear strike. Very attractive late classical portrait. Choice Very Fine.
