Thessalian League, 196-146 BC. Lot of Two AR Double Victoriati. Both with: Laureate head of Zeus right. Reverse: Athena Itona advancing right, brandinshing spear and shield; ethnic at sides, magistrate names in field or exergue. BMC p. 7, 22 for one; SNG Ashmolean 3793 for other. Lot of 2 coins. Coins cleaned. One with better style Zeus for series. Very Fine to Extremely Fine.
