Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 10

Lot 1616

1893 Isabella Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-67. One of the finest graded of this important commemorative issue. The surfaces are toned a lovely yellow gold color with green hints. Of course the surfaces are nearly perfect in every way, with radiant mint luster. Boldly struck and extremely pleasing for the grade. This one must have been put away at the time of issue and carefully preserved to this day. If you demand top quality, then take a look at this piece. Note the nearly perfect fields and devices, which show pristine luster throughout, and virtually no signs of contact. This coin is essentially as issued, save for the delicate hues of toning which occurred naturally over the decades. NGC notes this is one of 22 graded this high, with 7 graded higher, making this certainly one of the finest in existence.
Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,000.
