1828 Classic Head Half Cent. 12 stars. . C-2. Del Bland graded AU-55. With some blunt striking as often seen on this variety. Medium dark chocolate brown with considerable evidence of a faded mint red and light steel blue overtones, marred only by an almost invisible scuff mark between the chin and stars one and two and a microscopic nick above the space between A and L in HALF. Very attractive.
