1853. "Eureka" gold fantasy piece. MS-60. Struck some time after the date 1853, the obverse die is a rather crudely engraved scene that resembles the state seal, on the reverse is a wreath and "CALIFORNIA GOLD with the date 1853. Prooflike surfaces.
