1898-S Morgan Dollar. NGC graded MS-66. A superb example of this rare date, few of which can even approach this grade. Note the delicate peripheral gold toning and abundant mint luster in the fields. Liberty's cheek is especially clean, with none of the usual distracting marks or blemishes. The NGC Population Report shows that only 3 have been so graded, with an additional single coin graded prooflike, and one other coin graded higher. Bid accordingly, as you are not likely to be offered a better coin.
