Half Dollar. 1834 Breen 4705. Large date, small letters, normal 4. NGC graded MS-67. A monster coin! Although some of the obverse stars are not fully struck up, this gem is memorable for its impeccably pristine satiny mint surfaces. All is further enhanced by delicate violet toning with a hint of blue iridescense at the extreme borders. Certainly amongst the finest extant. As of this cataloging, this is the highest specimen graded by this service.
