1803 S-253 R2 Small Date, Small Fraction NGC graded F15. Mostly glossy dark olive brown with lighter chocolate brown and steel toning on the devices. There is a very thin layer of crud covering the fields and protected areas, and the crud may be hiding traces of microscopic roughness. No marks or other defects. Nicely struck M-LDS, Breen state V, with a strong die crack through STATE that outlines a slightly sunken retained cud break. The date and legends are bold. Our grade is F12.
