NASA Kodak 760 C Camera Body, Astronaut Shuttle Training, ca. 2005. NASA Kodak (In Cooperation with Nikon) DCS 760C Camera Body was used to train Astronauts during the Space Shuttle Program. This camera is NASA Class III hardware, identical in most respects to the actual flight cameras. Astronaut training using this camera was an important part in NASA's return to flight mission (beginning with STS-114) due to the ability to download images shortly after recording. This camera effectively ended 40 years of Hasselblad photography and a short time later, Nikon as well. The camera bears a NASA inventory sticker from 2011 and a Photo/TV Bldg. 4 label which denotes its use by Astronauts trainers who were located there.
