Flown TCS Blanket Shuttle Atlants September 1997. Flown on flight mission (STS-86) TCS blanket from Shuttle Atlantis (OV-104) flown September, 1997 for a total of almost 11 days and 170 orbits. This was the last mission Atlantis flew when it was taken fully out of service for maintenance and upgrades including the more visible glass cockpit. Included is original condition report and replacement documentation. hand dated 11/11/97. While report indicates blanket has rips and tears, for the collector it displays fantastic. Measures 18 x 8".
