Small Flown Segment of Thermal Tile from Shuttle Columbia (STS-1) in Acrylic Prepared by NASA. NASA presentation piece to a microelectronics specialist for his contribution to shuttle Columbia first mission (STS-1) April 12-14, 1981. Small, flown, heat shield tile segment is encased in acrylic with NASA presentation card and on verso the details of the tile. Entire piece measure 3 x 4" and has very minor surface blemishes.
