Astronaut Personal Preference Kit Likely Flown During Shuttle Program. NASA Part ID #SDD12100370-301 s/n 1056 likely flown during the Space Shuttle Program. The PPks were made of Nomex, were Class 1 flight hardware and used to carry an astronaut's personal affects during the Shuttle Program to which they were permitted to carry 20 items that could fit into one PPK. These were handled by ground support personnel using white gloves which accounts for their very clean condition. PPks were stored in a compartment unaccessible to the crew during flight and their design based on the shape and size as those used on the Apollo Program. Bag measures 6 x 9", was purchased as NASA surplus and comes with COA. Excellent condition. Estimate Value $200 - 300
