Apollo 13-14 Lunar Map Book of Fra Mauro Crater Area Used In Training; 36 B&W Photos, Fold-Out Map. Remarkable map and photos taken by Apollo 12 with numerous notations by hand of the Fra Mauro crater area of the moon which was the site originally for Apollo 13, obviously aborted due to the oxygen tank explosion. Site plan was re-visited and successful with Apollo 14. Original NASA photographs show the lunar landscape at various degrees of tilt, craters identified by hand. At front of workbook is a fold out map with vellum overlay with areas mapped by hand in various colored pencils. Overall in very fine used condition and truly an impressive technical work book.
