1798 S-166 R1 Large 8, Style II Hair PCGS Genuine, AU Details, Environmental Damage. Frosty olive and steel, slightly lighter on the highpoints than in the protected areas. The surfaces look smooth but a glass reveals extremely faint roughness covering all but the highpoints plus microscopic hairline scratches in the obverse fields. MDS, Breen state IV, with a small rim cud over ST in STATES and the reverse rotated 35 degrees CCW. Our grade is EF40 sharpness net VF25. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
