1847/47 N-2 R3 Large 7 over Small 7 PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Rather frosty uniform medium brown and light chocolate. Sharply struck and attractive, but there is light wear on the highpoints and a few small contact marks. The only notable mark is a thin diagonal nick on the forehead over the eye. EDS, die state a. The fine die lines from the dentils at star 13 are clear and the Large 7 over Small 7 feature is obvious. Clear strike doubling shows on MERIC. Our grade is EF40+, close to EF45.
