1929 Washington Senators, 18 Signatures Including Hall 4 Hall of Famers: Walter Johnson, Cronin, Goslin & Rice. Impressive collection of team signatures from the 1929 Washington Senators signed on a commemorative Second Anniversary cover of Lindbergh's New York to Paris flight. Signed at top by Walter Johnson, "Barney," "The Big Train," one of the most celebrated and dominating players in history and one of the "Immortal Five" one of the first 5 players inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936. Signed here when manager of the Senators. Also included are 3 other Hall of Famers, Joe Cronin, Goose Goslin (large signature) and Sam Rice. Also signing are fellow teammates Garland Braxton, Lloyd Brown, Bump Hadley, Sam Jones, Firpo Marberry (signed Fred Marberry), Muddy Ruel, Benny Tate, Ossie Bluege, Jack Hayes, Joe Judge, Red Barnes, Archie Campbell (signed as A.S. Campbell), Roy Spencer and Sam West. Overall even toning otherwise signatures bold and very legible. Walter Johnson's is the only signature in black fountain pen ink. Overall very fine.
