1898 Dated Alaska One Pinch. Head Left, Octagonal. Hart's Coins of the West. NGC graded MS-65. These are scarce and desirable in all grades, here is one that has earned the MS-65 grade level from NGC which makes it far more desirable. The obverse design on this octagonal coin shows an Indian Chief facing left, wearing full headdress, with date below and surrounded by 13 stars. The reverse has an open laurel wreath within which reads ALASKA GOLD ONE PINCH. A handsome gem!
