1853 C-1 R1 AU58. A frosty mint state piece that has a few very faint hairlines on the neck. Otherwise this half cent is quite nice; free of any spots, stains or contact marks. Medium steel brown with faded mint color remaining in protected areas on both sides. MDS, Manley state 1.0 late. The die line through the first T in STATES is dull but visible.
