1833 C-1 R1 MS60+. Very attractive glossy medium chocolate brown with smooth, prooflike fields on both sides. Essentially flawless; a microscopic tick on the rim under the second 3 is the best identifying mark. MDS, Manley state 2.0, showing sharp die clashmarks on both sides. The dies were freshly lapped giving this piece a prooflike appearance. This piece was once cataloged as a proof strike, and it comes with a provenance that contains several prominent collectors.
