Lot 303

1837 N-9 R1 Beaded Hair Cord EF40. Frosty medium brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The only marks are a small spot of reddish chocolate toning left of star 13 and another in the field close before the eye. The reverse is flawless. Sharply struck M-LDS with several die cracks on the obverse and a small but well defined rim cud at star 11. A relatively modest cent that comes with a very nice provenance.
Estimated Value $150-UP.
