1798/7 S-152 R2 Overdate Large 8 over 7 F15. Five points sharper but there are two very light rim bruises left of the hair ribbon and another slightly stronger one at D-S on the reverse. Otherwise this cent is quite nice showing only trivial marks on smooth, attractive surfaces. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. MDS with a subtle wave in the field under the hair ribbon. The date is bold, the overdate feature is obvious, and the legends are strong. A very nice mid-grade example of this popular overdate variety.
