Personal Effects of Private Daniel H. Dickey. During the Civil War, Dickey (1830-1911) was a Private in Company "H" 10th Regiment, New Hampshire Volunteers. Personal items include: a carte de visite sepia-toned bust portrait of Dickey in uniform; a New Testament, hard covers, 4½ x 2½ in., New York, American Bible Society, 1857; and a straight edge razor with a 5¾ in. wood sheath handle and original 6 in. leather case, Wade & Butcher, Sheffield, c.1860s. Items are beautifully mounted and displayed in a 15 x 19 in. frame.
