Official White House Christmas color print signed as President and First Lady, with an inscription by Lady Bird, ""We wish you a joyous Christmas season /and a New Year of hopes fulfilled / Lady Bird Johnson / Christmas 1965," 12 x 15 in. The President signed at lower left of the inscription. Decorative gold Presidential seal with green ribbons is affixed at left lower border. Matted with printed color portraits of President and Mrs. Johnson; four large Commemorative Presidential bronze medals; a printed excerpt from Johnson's 1965 Inaugural Address ("If we fail now, then we will have forgotten in abundance what we have learned in hardship: that democracy rests on faith; freedom asks more than it gives; and the judgment of God is harshest on those who are most favored"); and a brief printed LBJ biographical timeline.
