Lot 300

1836 N-3 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Lustrous golden brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Traces of faded mint color show in some of the protected areas and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. The only marks, and they are trivial, are a small diagonal nick under the front edge of the eye and a faint diagonal wisp of slightly darker toning across the right base of the N in ONE. LDS with a rim cud break that extends inside the dentil tips at star 6. Our grade is MS60+, nearly choice.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.

Realized $1,880
