1893. PCGS graded Proof 67 Cameo. Fully white gem proof cameo. The contrast is enhanced by the depth of the frost on the devices, as they stand tall above the distant mirror fields. An exceptional example of this early Barber half dollar and one which will grace any advanced collection. 1893 was the second year these new half dollars were produced. Clearly this one was carefully set aside and cherished from the time of issue by knowledgeable numismatiststo retain such amazing quality and mark free surfaces. Only 792 struck.
