1961 Kennedy inaugural medal. 70 mm, 0.999 pure silver. Only 7,500 struck. Kennedy suggested to use the president's seal as the reverse of the medal, and this idea was adopted by a lot of later presidents. The Medallic Art Company reduced the original high relief design by 20% to save the money and time in striking these medals.
