1912-D. PCGS graded MS-65. A popular branch mint issue, the 1912-D Liberty nickel is also a conditionally challenging coin that represents a particularly important find in grades at or above the MS-65 level. This beautifully toned Gem is adorned with ice-blue, reddish-gold, and nickel-gray patina. The strike is above average for the issue with only minor weakness on several of the stars and a bit on the lower left portion of the wreath. Distracting spots or other blemishes are not reported. Pop 157; 40 finer, 5 in 65+, 35 in 66 (PCGS # 3874) .
