Sampler - 1864. 1864 ABC Sampler. Beautifully stitched with large, upper-case alphabet and smaller upper and lower-case alphabet, 19" x 12"; framed to an overall size of 25½" x 21¾". "B.J, 1864" at bottom center. Depictions of dogs, a bird and flowers on lower section above the initials. Minor soiling and some fabric loss at edges and deterioration vertically down center. Not examined out of frame.
