Dated Dec 25, 1919 by hand, legal size envelope with 'Special Commission/First Aerial Derby/Around the World' imprint and franked by China Scott #182 and tied by black boxed 'Chinese Post Office/Despatched by Aeroplane/Tientsin to Peking' handstamp and with additonal strike of same in different color at bottom left. Addressed to Louis D Beaumont, Aerial Derby Commission Chairman, at the Grand Hotel in Peking. Bold signature of Beaumont at top. Some insignificant staining. Rare cover.
