Four Original Title Panels from ARABIAN NIGHTS (1942). Four Pieces: Original hand illustrated back ground art and with title credit overlays for ARABIAN NIGHTS (1942) starring Jon Hall, Maria Montez and Sabu. The credit overlays are in Spanish for foreign distribution, but the original illustrations are very much present in the/English language versions. In fact, the art with the large blue dome on the left and the minaret on the right is the key original back ground art for the title, ARABIAN NIGHTS, as found in the English language prints. All four illustrations are quite charming evoking the fantastic worlds of The Arabian Nights and rendered in pastels and ink each measuring 9" x 10" and in excellent condition. On the overlays, some wear is evident on the name Maria Montez and Sabu as evident on one panel, the other two are fine. One has no overlay. Original title art from films of the 1930s and early 1940sare highly prized and scarce.
