1871 Quarter Dollar Round. Breen and Gillio-810. Low Rarity 7. NGC graded MS-67. Bright and frosty with traces of the engine turning that finished the die surface. No fraction bar. A superb Gem of simply outstanding quality! Another Period Two quarter struck by Frontier & Co. The reverse has a high date, close to the center of the wreath, with two pairs of berries on each branch and one on the tail of R. Very rare. Pop 3; none finer at NGC.
