1832 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Normal. . O-114. NGC graded AU-55. Deep steel gray toning on both sides, with heavily drawn stars towards the rim, diagnostic on this variety. Quickly identifiable by the small lump at the top of Liberty's throat, and the tiny fine lines just above the claw on the right of the eagle. Tied at the low end of the Condition Census with others as the third finest known There is a dull mark below the last A of AMERICA, and two on the bottom arrowhead. Weakness in the strike on the scroll as always. A rare and desirable example of this scarce issue.
