Augustus & Agrippa, 27 BC-14 AD. AE As, Nemausus mint in Gaul, struck c. 10-14 AD. Joint heads of Agrippa, left and wearing wreath and rostral crown, and Augustus, right, with wreath. Reverse: Chained crocodile right, palm branch behind; above, wreath and fillet. RIC 159; RPC 525, cf. 526 for style. Artistic dark toning with orichalcum highlights. With excellent, sharply struck portraits. Very Fine.
