Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 8

Lot 2388

CT, 1776, -/1/6 (One Shilling and Six Pence), Colonial Currency. The June 19th issue printed only 9,000 notes of this denomination in the summer of 1776. Think, this is the currency that was used in Connecticut when it became part of the United States of America just a few weeks later. Pen cancelled. Very Fine.
Estimated Value $75 - 150.

Realized $150
