Lot 1517
1914-S Buffalo Nickel. ANACS graded MS-64. A near gem that boasts gold toning on the feathers and deep nickel blue with a dollop of purple above the date. The overdate is notable by a small bar through the top of the 4, which in theory is the remnant of an undertype 3. Deep rose gold toning on the reverse. Well struck and well preserved.
