Justice William O. Douglas (1898–1980) Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. His term, lasting 36 years and 209 days (1939-75), is the longest term in the history of the Supreme Court.
Collection of four items: three typed letters signed, two signed "Bill" and one signed "W.O. Douglas", each 5½ x 9", on Supreme Court letterhead; signed photo, black & white, 4 x 5", signed on the white lower margin. Overall fine condition. Estimated Value $250 - 350.
