1787 Massachusetts Half Cent Ryder 4-B Rarity-5 PCGS graded XF45. Glossy very dark olive brown. Smooth and attractive in spite of the darker than normal toning. The only mark is a small but rather deep punch in the field below the arrows in the eagle's talon. The date and legends are bold except for the usual weakness at the waist of the Indian. A decent example of this very scarce variety. Listed on page 59 in the "Redbook."
