1787 Massachusetts Half Cent Ryder 2-A Rarity-3 VG8. Glossy chocolate and steel brown. Smooth, void of any trace of roughness or verdigris, but there are a couple small marks. These include a collection of fine pin scratches on the first M in COMMON and a small punch mark on the tip of the Indian's lower feather. The date is strong and the legends are easily readable in spite of weakness at COM. Listed on page 59 in the "Redbook." Weight 67.2 grains.
