1787 Massachusetts Half Cent Ryder 1-D Rarity-4 NGC graded VF25. Glossy dark olive brown and chocolate with slightly lighter toning on the highpoints. No roughness or verdigris and only a few minor marks. These include a light scratch through the elbow of the Indian holding the arrow and a pinprick in the field under the eagle's foot that holds the sprig. The date and legends are complete and clear. A decent example of this scarce variety. Listed on page 59 in the "Redbook."
