1788 Connecticut Draped Bust Left, INDL ET LIB Miller 16.2-O Rarity-5 F12. Tab Double Strike. Slightly sharper but very fine granularity covers the fields and protected areas on both sides. No notable signs of verdigris or contact. The date and legends are clear and easily readable except for weakness at ONN in CONNEC due to die failure in that area. The INDL error is clear. Double struck, the second impression 90% off center to K-6.5 leaving a tab of dentils on both sides. Listed on page 62 in the "Redbook." Weight 118.3 grains.
