1787 Connecticut Draped Bust Left, AUCTOBI Miller 39.1-h.1 Rarity-5 VF30. Slightly sharper but there is a shallow planchet void or contact mark on the drapery at the bottom of the portrait. Otherwise this piece is free of any notable defects. Rather glossy dark olive with lighter olive toning on the highpoints. Struck slightly off center to K-12 leaving the bottom of the date off the planchet, but it remains easily readable and the legends are complete. The AUCTOBI error is bold. Listed on page 62 in the "Redbook." Weight 166.0 grains.
Estimated Value $350-UP.

Realized $403
