1778 Machin's Mills Halfpenny Vlack 11-78A Rarity-3 F15. Sharpness EF45 but lightly corroded on the obverse, moderately so on the reverse where shallow reddish verdigris adheres to the fields. No marks. Slightly glossy steel brown and olive. The date and legends are complete and clear, easily readable in spite of the roughness. Listed on page 67 in the "Redbook." Weight 90.3 grains.
