1885-S $20 Liberty. NGC graded MS-63. Well struck and lustrous. Scarce in such high grade. While this date tends to be available in the lower grades of Uncirculated, this is one of the few MS63 pieces we have offered at auction in the last few months. A sharply struck example, it has bright gold mint luster with a couple of tiny abrasions on the cheek, which account for the assigned grade. A sharp looking coin that is a conditionally desirable (PCGS # 9005) .
