1806 S-270 R1. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. CAC Approved. Lustrous bluish steel with lighter steel brown and tan toning faded down from mint color in protected areas. Just a few trivial ticks from flawless. Nicely struck MDS, Breen state III, showing a short, irregular crack into the field from the dentils before the lower part of the neck. About two-thirds of the dentils on the obverse remain clearly defined. Graded MS60 and CC#5 in the Noyes census, photo #56011. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Paul Gerrie provenance are shown on the PCGS label. Pop 2; none finer at PCGS .
