1804 S-266c R2. PCGS graded EF-45. Lightly cleaned, now retoned glossy dark steel brown and olive with bluish steel overtones. A small chip or nick on the cheek and a couple thin nicks on the curl under the hair ribbon are the notable marks. Nicely struck LDS, Breen state IV, with strong cud breaks connecting RTY and MERI to the rim. Graded EF45 net VF30 and tied for CC#12 in the Noyes census, photo #21398. Our grade is net VF30. A sharp, attractive example of this tough date. The attribution and Paul Gerrie provenance are shown on the PCGS label. Pop 2; 2 finer, 1 in 50, 1 in 63.
Estimated Value $12,500-UP.
