Celtic. Middle and Lower Danube. Silver Tetradrachm (12.80g) struck ca. 3rd-2nd Century BC. Dreieckhals Type. Laureate head of Zeus right with beard-line as lower profile and curved truncation. Reverse. Rider, with plumed, horse-like head and stick arms, on horseback left, holding a spear with an elongate diamond point; wheel before; pellet between horse's front legs, Λ below its belly; Π-like letters around. Kostial 662; Göbl OTA pl. 27, 318/4 (this coin); Lanz 662. Nicely toned. Extremely Fine.
