1796 S-113 R5 Draped Bust VG10. Clipped Planchet. Ten points sharper but rather dull thanks to uniform very fine granularity. No verdigris, only a few minor contact marks, none significant. Medium chocolate brown mottled with dark olive and steel. A planchet clip affects the dentils behind the head and the opposing ones at NIT in UNITED. M-LDS, Breen state IV early. The die crack through the 17 and lowest curl is clear and extends slightly beyond the curl, and the area at the 17 is slightly raised as a retained cud. The date and legends are complete and clear.
